We woke up to MINUS 20 degrees F this morning ...
A day where cats and dogs who asked to go OUT,
stand by the door, 2 minutes LATER,
lifting one of their cold front paw ...
A day where your nostrils stick together when you breathe,
the drop at the tip of your nose turns into an ICICLE
and your teeth FREEZE when you talk ...
A day where everything goes SNAP, CRACKLE and POP
when you walk in thsnow ...
TOO cold for me to go skiing
but warm ENOUGH
to spend the afternoon outside
in my garden dungeon
once the sun hit the walls
and the little electric heater worked its MAGIC
for a few hours ...
It got as high as MINUS 2 degrees F,
quite comfy to sit in my old aluminium folding chair,
work on a crazy sculptures with the heat gun and the rusting compound
and drink a couple of very good bottles of Merlot
with a friend who visited on SNOW SHOES ...
