Well, my son Ulysse is officially done with school,

last exam done this morning ...

Yeah for 10 weeks of summer partying ahead !

But we made sure that the @(#&(#+*!)%&"{#!!~! schoolbus

won't be showing up at 7 a.m. for a little while ...

Like mother, like son ;-)

Oh, how I recall those early morning bus pick ups, but back in the day, I was also going to school, so I was up before my son was. He's autistic with other issues and I had to come up with a plan to get him to do what needed to be done before he left to wait for the school bus. I had early morning classes, so I got him up so he was ready before I left. I purchased 2 huge and loud alarm clocks, one for him to take his medication and the other for him to go outside our apartment complex and wait for the bus. It worked and he was never late!! LOL

Enjoy your son for the summer. I will be visiting with 2 of my 4 grandsons next week while they are visiting their father...I'm so excited about seeing them...miss them very much since they don't live here anymore.

OH yeah, that was how I always felt about getting out for the summer! And I miss that lazy feeling of waking and knowing I did not have to *do* anything other than what I wanted......ah, to have a week or two of that now!
♥LUV♥ the bus photo! ;D

I also remember feeling that joy!
swimming all day and eating our meals while sitting on a towel in our swimsuits. pulling on a pair of shorts and riding our bikes........
and staying up late!
