ONE EGG, TWO EGGS, THREE EGGS, FOUR ...

I have been working hard in my studio trying to finish 2 commissioned paintings and a few more to list in my Etsy store next week.

But I had to take a break and spend some time outside hunting and searching and looking everywhere ... to find out where the girls have been laying their eggs out lately.

The Jello-Cockadoodle comfrontation has left them nervous and unpredictable.

Nothing in the coop for almost a week now ...

I FOUND THEM !!!

Under the garden tiller parked under my pear tree ...

Talk about a nest !!!

We are having fritatta for supper tonite !

Under the garden tiller? lol!
I don't know why but when I first started reading this post I thought you were talking about turtle eggs, and couldn't figure out why you would gather them in a basket, and make a fritata...then it slowly clued that they were from your chickens, lol!

enjoy your dinner :-D

Hi Lulu amiga. papas con chorizo y huevos tambien. :D Actually do you know that I made that for dinner tonight. We get two eggs a day. We only have the two chickens. That's all we need. I can hardly wait to see what your commissioned paintings looks like. ::abrazos:: Take care.

Oh I just love all the wonderful colors in those eggs! What a funny hiding place they found for their nest - ha!

Wow! What a LOAD!! And so beautiful, nature is creating such perfect things.
One of the eggs looks very interesting, a bit longer and different in it´s shape (upper middle). Looks like a double-whammy to me. Or does it look different cause of the shadow, Lulu?
