oooh it did go by so fast!Happy Thursday to you Lulu:)xox
Did your chickie come home? I have never had them wonder off and not return unless a predator got them. We have walked our property and surrounding woods and found feathers and that is how we knew. I HATE that. It is soo sad when you are oibviously hoping for the best. But ours do not free range too often because of the hawks and occasional bear in the day. So, we have a 700 sq foot pen for our 3hens and 3 ducks. Plus we have a 300 sq. foot "sleeping quarters" for them that we herd them into each night, that is like fort know against any predators. My experience is they stay close to home when not well. We just lost one a few weeks ago. SHe was a big "roaster" hen and she had been in wonderful health. But they do have short life spans so I imagine as we are on year 3 this will start to happen. :(Let me know about your lil feathered friend.
aaaah! fall ~ back to school ~ smiles all around!LOVE.ewww.blujaystudio.com
